Braves sweep the series 3 - 0 with a 5 - 0 victory in game 3
The Braves and Longhorns traded scoreless innings through the fourth inning.
Braves starter James Walker was dialed in keeping the Longhorns off balance the entire game.
Longhorns starter Brendan Hiebert threw a scoreless first inning with Sam Thibert coming on in the second inning, keeping the Braves off the scoreboard until the top of the fifth where Braves Trevor Gray hit a run scoring double following a leadoff single by Dylan Plett who advanced to second on a wild pitch.
The Longhorns went to the Bullpen once again bringing in their third pitcher of the night Josh Bracken with Grey on second base.
Next batter up Andrew Blocker grounded out to first base ahead of Owen Blocker crushing a triple to the right centre field gap, scoring Gray on the play.
Next up Aiden Brook pounded a towering first pitch home run over the left field wall scoring two runs on the play and the Braves took a 4 - 0 lead to the middle of the fifth.
Braves Walker gave up two hits and a walk to load the bases in the bottom of the fifth with two outs. Walker worked out of it getting Longhorns Eric Archambault to fly out to left field to end the inning.
Longhorns reliever Jerimie Thibert came into the game top of the sixth to be the fourth Longhorn pitcher the Braves faced.
Braves Cole Cassie led off the top of the sixth reaching first on a missed third strike by the longhorns catcher Eric Archambault. A single by Clay Kotschorek followed by a hit by pitch on Brody Welsh loaded the bases with Trevor Gray scoring the Braves fifth run on a base on balls.
Braves Walker gave up a walk in the bottom of the sixth before retiring the side and taking a 5 - 0 lead to the seventh inning.
The seventh inning went scoreless with Braves Gray dishing the force out at second to Devan Lambert for the final out of the game sealing the championship for the Braves.
Walker threw a scoreless complete game on 5 hits, 5walks and 7 k's, facing 31 batters on the night.
Gameball went to Braves catcher Aiden Brook who went 3 for 4 at the plate with two singles and a two run home run while also gunning an attempted stolen base at third late in the game.
Braves scored 5 runs on eight hits on 4 singles, a double by Trevor Gray, two triples by the Blocker brothers, Andrew and Owen and Aiden Brook's 2 RBI round tripper.

August 13th, 2026   Game 1 of the best of 5 B Pool Final
Braves take a 1 - 0 final series lead with a come from behind 9 - 5 victory in game 1.
The Braves started slowly giving up 3 hits and 3 runs off of starter Ken Lavallee in the top of the first inning. They answered back with 2 runs on one hit and an error by the Longhorns in the bottom of the first inning. Both teams settled down for the next 3 scoreless innings.
All was quiet til the top of the fifth inning where the Longhorns scored two more runs on two hits and a failed pickoff attempt at second base that allowed Longhorns Chase Young to steal home giving the Longhorns a 5 - 2 lead at the middle of the fifth inning.
The Braves bats then came to life in the bottom of the fifth scoring 5 runs on 5 hits including doubles by Andrew Blocker and Aiden Brook and a triple by Trey Sellen, ending the 5th inning with a 7 - 5 Braves lead.
Braves starter Ken Lavallee went the distance giving up no runs on 1 hit in the final 2 innings while the Braves added 2 insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for the 9 - 5 win.
Game ball went to Ken Lavallee for his 5 out of 7 shutdown innings, giving up 5 earned runs on 7 hits with 8 K's facing 30 batters, in the complete game victory.
An honourable mention to Dylan Plett who after making a fielding misplay in the first inning, came back to scorch the ball at the plate with a fifth inning single with, Jeremy Voth on first from a leadoff single, and then leading off the sixth with a double to the gap in right center field.  These timely hits by Plett ignited the Brave's scoring onslaught in the fifth and sixth innings that sealed the victory.
